Actor Jim Carrey is blasting away at California Gov. Jerry Brown to his 14 million Twitter followers, angry at new state legislation that requires all children in public schools to be vaccinated starting in 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Brown signed the contentious legislation just one day after California lawmakers sent him the bill, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Carrey, who was once in a relationship with Jenny McCarthy, the public face of the anti-vaccination movement, on Wednesday called the governor a “corporate fascist” who “must be stopped” after wasting no time to impose a bill with one of the strictest school vaccination laws in the country.
California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped.

They say mercury in fish is dangerous but forcing all of our children to be injected with mercury in thimerosol is no risk. Make sense?

I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti-thimerosal, anti-mercury. They have taken some of the mercury laden thimerosal out of vaccines. NOT ALL!

I am PRO-VACCINE/ANTI-NEUROTOXIN, Get that straight. http://t.co/gbh58Unyvo

According to Time, Carrey insists that he is not “anti-vaccine” but rather opposed to the ingredients they can contain, like mercury and thimerosal, and the harm they pose to children. Carrey also says there is a link between vaccines and autism.
